In 2089, the nation’s split in two: those above the dust storms, and those caught below.

Chased from high-society by her father’s assassin, Melodi’s seeking refuge in the Lowlands, a world with no internet, no schools, and no government. For those trapped there, the only way out is Elevation: a gladiatorial quest for 3,000 followers. But for Melodi, its the only way to earn the protection she desperately needs.

In a brutal society obsessed with spectacle, honor, and that thin line between life and death, loyalty comes at a high price. And with her father’s killer closing in fast, Melodi must do the unthinkable to win the hearts of a people that bleeds “glory by all means, glory by any means”.
